Back to Jan '04 MonthlytopicIn welcoming starting of the Year 2005 , The committee of Hong Kong Invention Association would like to wish All Friends , Associates , Honorary Presidents , Consultants and Members a Healthy and Happy New Year , bringing forth more inventions to enhance the economy and contribute to the society.
In the coming year , Several key events will be held .
1. In order to extend our service to society and encourage more participation . the committees decided to change the registered name of the association from "Hong Kong Inventors Association Ltd." to Hong Kong Invention Association Ltd. and this was approved by Hong Kong Government at 23 July 2003. Our Web site change to Hong Kong Invention Association from Jan 1 2005. ;
2. We will seek all kind of financial support from Government for organizing Invention Competition, Seminars & Forum. .
3. To expand our working area as well s the space for exhibiting our members' outstanding inventions, we will struggle apply for a free office and exhibitionj area from the Government .
4. To financially support our members and other outstanding inventors to participate International Invention Exhibition and/or Competition, some fund raising activties will be held ;
5. To introduce the outstanding inventions and innovation of our members, a book, "TheInventions of Hong Kong", will be published .
6.
We will organize a meeting for introducing our new members including some IP Lawyers. During
the meeting , Old members can share their experiences of invention with the new members may also give legal
advice to us
.
7. The Association will continue our effort in Help ,
Promoting and Motivating Inventions & Innovation of Hong Kong
.
We will continue to invite Universities
, Education Organization
,
Research organizations and Inventors of Hong Kong to participate
International & Local Invention Fairs in coming
future
.
8. The Association will also continue our efforts in assisting members registering their inventions for local and international Patent protections
;
besides ,
we will help in introducing the inventions to intersted parties for their investment
, making the inventions turning to commercial application .
